San Francisco in Monotones

San Francisco, the city made famous by the Golden Gate Bridge, the Alcatraz Island, Cable Cars, the Hills, the Redwood trees and the Fog, the vibrant Immigrant population, the LGBTQ movement and the list goes on and on.

It's a city I have known for years, and I'm proud to be associated with it's identity, people and culture. The list is pretty long, but it's a very unique place, and great one to live or visit!!!

These are collection of some random images taken in no particular order or theme.

The cityline!

The intimate relationship between the ocean, the fog and the Redwood trees.

History in one frame - one of the first immigrant community (Chinatown) and the Cable Car.

Alcatraz Island - a place full of history, legends and folklore.

Golden Gate Bridge, needs no introduction!

The Hill!

The city that barely sleeps, always in motion.

Legion of Honor - ancient art.

Tides of change and technology hub - completely autonomous and driverless cars.

Fort Mason, a coastal defense site, serving as a port during the Civil War and both World Wars.

Union Square, the center of the city. And also a core issues the city is struggling to find a solution - Homelessness!
